Our Fitness Classes are designed to address different needs and preferences. Although they differ in training technique, structure and intensity, all of them are ultimately beneficial in your fitness and weight loss journey.


These classes allow you to work your body in completely different ways whether you’d like to benefit from building more strength, stamina or flexibility while losing weight or getting fit. With a wide variety of classes to choose from, you’ll surely find 2 or 3 that suit you best.


Our Fitness Classes offer a friendly, fun and supportive environment relieving any self-imposed anxiety or pressure any beginner would normally feel. You’ll laugh, work hard and become part of a social group that sweats, aches and achieves together. Even if you don’t bring a work out buddy, you’ll definitely end up making new friends. It is a great start to get you motivated and push yourself more.

Bootcamp
The Bootcamp work-out sessions are designed to provide full body training that suits any fitness levels.Our Bootcamp program is the longest running of all our Fitness Classes, most popular and enjoyed by many Vital Health and Fitness clients.
Unlike our other Fitness Classes that run all-year round, the Bootcamp sessions run in 8-week blocks. For more details about our Bootcamp program and schedule, contact us through 0457 126 810.

 

Boxing
Boxing is an amazing way to get fit and lose weight. With boxing, you can burn more than 500 calories an hour, tone up your body as well as improve coordination and general fitness. It is a full body work out if done properly.
Our founder and trainer, Cristian Astudillo, is a fully qualified Thump Boxing Master Trainer. Thump Boxing is one of the best forms of boxing for fitness as it uses your whole body and maintains that heart rate nice and high which is what keeps your body on calorie-burning mode. The Australian Football League (AFL), National Rugby League (NRL) and a lot of other professional codes use Thump Boxing as part of their preseason training.
Boxing is one of the best things you can do to get the fitness results you are after.

 

Core Conditioning
The core is a collection of muscles which stabilise and move the spine. Developing core muscle strength is critical in boosting the effectiveness of workouts as when you strengthen your abdominal and lower back area, your entire body strength also improves. When you strengthen your core and ultimately your entire body, you’ll see improvements in your body’s overall performance during sports activities, workouts or even during simple day-to-day physical activities.
To make the core stronger, you only need to let it do its job and protect the spine when you do strength exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press and overhead press. Core Conditioning is a low to moderate intensity program that complements our Bootcamp program well so we have scheduled them one after the other to maximise not only the benefits of your workout but also your time and visit to the studio.

 

Fat Blaster
Send your metabolism soaring and kick your fat burning furnace into high gear with our Fat Blaster training program. This is a fast-paced class in which you do one type of exercise ranging from 30 seconds to 2 minutes then move on to another exercise. It’s like a game of musical chairs where participants are divided into sub-groups and each sub-group starts with one exercise at a particular section of the training studio and when time is up, each sub-group moves to the next section with another exercise.
Our Fat Blaster training program increases your strength and cardio fitness while burning lots of calories. If you’re looking for a good sweat to shake out of a training plateau, join our Fat Blaster training program, it is a fun and fast-paced way of working out.

 

Mums and Bubs (Mothers’ Group)
If you are a mum and would like to get back into fitness to regain control of your body, join our Mothers Group. This fitness program aims to improve not only your health but also help build community and increase confidence. We currently have a group of 5 mothers in our program, getting in shape and making it work.

 

Stretch & Strengthen
Stretching is the deliberate lengthening of muscles in order to increase flexibility and joint range of motion. Flexibility tends to diminish as you get older and stretching helps you regain and maintain it. Increased flexibility and joint range of motion improve ability to perform daily tasks such as lifting objects or bending to tie your shoes. Increased joint range of motion keeps you in better balance which decreases the risk of injury and muscle soreness.
Stretching also increases blood flow to muscles bringing nourishment and gets rid of waste by products in the muscle tissue. Improved circulation help shorten recovery time during muscle injuries.
Stretching is essential after a strenuous workout as the enhanced flexibility resulting from stretching tired and sore muscles reduces tension and helps them recover quicker. For this reason, our Stretch & Strengthen class is the best complement and post-workout program for our Bootcamp sessions. Attending both sessions maximises the benefits of your workout as well as your time and visit to the training studio.

 

Tabata
Tabata is a form of High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.) and cardio training which gets the heart rate up, increases metabolic rate and burns fat in less time.
A Tabata workout involves 20 seconds of very high intensity training followed by 10 seconds of rest then repeating the cycle a few times. The difference between Tabata training and other interval workouts is the sheer intensity. Because the rest intervals are shorter than the work sets, the intensity builds, allowing you to do more in less time. Interval workouts have been proven to burn more calories and increase performance. Focusing on high intensity training like Tabata offers even more of those calorie-burning benefits.

 

Tummy, Hips and Thighs (THT)

Quite expectedly, our THT program is a favourite among those who want no fuss and yet strong and effective ‘below-the-belt’ training. THT involves low impact cardio training using the step or lunges and squats on the floor to hone in on quads and gluteals. This is followed by conditioning and core work focusing on abdominals, back muscles, gluteals, hamstrings and quadriceps. The THT program helps build on the balance, mobility and stability of your lower body from the waist down

Unlimited Package Membership
Access any of the Fitness Classes throughout the week for a packaged rate of $39 per week.

 

Class Warrior Membership
At Vital Health and Fitness, we reward clients for their commitment and determination to reach their goals. For those who would like to focus on a few rather than all the classes but are keen and steadfast in attending those few classes every week, we can offer our Class Warrior Membership for a minimum of 1 year at a discounted rate of $10 per class.

 

Since this membership enjoys a substantial discount, the Class Warrior rate is fixed regardless whether you skip a class or turn up.

 

Standard Flexi Membership
For those who prefer to have some flexibility and be able to make-up classes they’ve missed, our Standard
Flexi Membership Rate is $15 per class.
